"In her first Don Quixote in La Havana, Ms. Lobe was a definite promise. Her shining artistry, strong technique and stylistic abilities were internationally matched when performing with partners such as Mr. Bujones or Mr. Carreño. Today she is the caring teacher who can inspire, communicate and develop students beyond the personality of the traditional ballet star!

Ana Lobe was a guest teacher at Lake Arrowhead School of Dance, for my summer intensive program. She has a wonderful way of sharing her love for the art of dance, she commands her students to be attentive to their tools and to use them to their ability. She has an incredible eye for detail, artistry and technique. My students loved her technique classes, variations, and pointe classes. Her class construction, presentation and artistry was truly a gift to my students. I felt with her individual attention and encouragement to the students they really grew as dancers. Thank you Ana!

Director of Lake Arrowhead School of Dance

"Ana Lobe is one of the most driven and passionate ballet teachers I have ever met. The standard of excellence that she holds herself accountable is strongly reflected onto her students that achieve and meet that standard. She inspires her students to achieve goals of "only the best" . Ms. Lobe's attention to the technical aptitude of ballet is astounding. The training that she gives her students is "world class" for she gives her students the perfect blend of technique, high discipline, and artistry. Her students don't just learn ballet technique; they learn to be "artists"! Dancers who study with Ms. Lobe receive the physical, intellectual, and emotional benefits of dance. She truly develops each student who range from the novice dancer to the most advance dancer into their greatest potential. "

Ana Lobe has been a colleague of mine since 2004 as an invited guest teacher for our summer intensive program in Providence Rhode Island.  Among the many talented and professional guests who have taught in our program Ana is by far one of the most beloved.  She brings with her a great breath of knowledge as a teacher and coach.  She provides excellent teaching methods to our young students with classes that engage, encourage and inspire.  Her classes push students to make them strong while fostering artistry and expression.
During her time at Festival Ballet Providence Ana has set pieces of her own choreography as well as repertoire from the classics.  After just one week with our students her choreography always looks well-rehearsed and beautifully danced.  This is a testament to her ability to choose work that is level appropriate and to encourage dancers to achieve their very best.  She is able to work in the contemporary genre as well as the strict classical.
In surveys to our students following our program Ana always receives an abundance of praise and gratitude from the young dancers who have had an opportunity to work with her. They feel a sense of accomplishment both technically and artistically.
Ana is an extreme professional and would be an asset in the training of every young ballet dancer.  She will be invited to Festival Ballet Providence for many years to come.

Congratulations! I was amazed to see your students perform the Coppelia excerpt. I went to dance recitals when my girls were little and recently for my granddaughter and saw nothing even close to what you accomplished. You have done a fabulous job. The back drop and the costumes looked professional and the young dancers were very impressive. I knew that you would do outstanding work, but that doesn't begin to describe the quality you have achieved in a few short years. Bravo!

Thanks so much for inviting me to produce a visual of your dance production. It was a wonderful show. I have been working on the digital post production this weekend and the first act, "Coppelia", is coming together very very nicely. When I am filming at a production, I am in 'work' mode and focused on the technical. In this mode I don't always fully grasp the creativeness of a production like I would if I were an audience member and in 'art patron' mode, ha ha. Now that I have put together the first act, I am fully able to appreciate the absolute talent of these dancers. It quite literally took my breath away. I'm sure you are quite proud of your students.
