Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) 2014 participants, Emma Brady, Laura Gabay, Sarah Gabay, Emily Welty. Ms. Lobé presented these four talented dancers at the YAGP Indiana Regionals in February. Their chosen repertoire for the year included classical variations from La Fille Mal Gardee, La Esmeralda, Swan Lake Pas de Trois, Harlequinade, Don Quixote, and two contemporary pieces from choreographer Mitchel Federan; Only the Winds and Words of Amber. Ms. Lobé individually coached these students to prepare them not only for this competition, but to make them the best dancers they can be as they move forward with their careers as professional dancers, or in first class academic dance programs. Her experience on the world stage as a Principal dancer is a gift she generously shares with her students. One on one training with each student allows for individualized technique mastery, and development of the artistry necessary to bring their performances to life on stage.
